THE LOUNGE
The Lounge is a spacious private area that adjoins the restaurant on Level One of The Establishment. A comfortable function space, usually furnished with couches that can be tailored to meet your needs.
The Lounge has a small balcony affording a view of Blair St up to Courtenay Place. This space is perfect for formal dining or a social function. The lounge can hold 80 patrons standing, or 40 for dinner. It is perhaps the most private of our function spaces, and is ideal if you want to have a function on Courtenay Place, without necessarily having to feel like you are.

RESTAURANT LEVEL 1
The Restaurant on the first floor of The Establishment is the perfect function space for large dinner groups, or casual cocktail functions. Able to seat up to 100 for formal dining, with a maximum capacity of 200 for a standing function, the large wrap around balcony creates a great indoor outdoor flow. An all day relaxed dining environment separates the restaurant from the bar and nightclub downstairs, this space contains a fully stocked bar, a restaurant kitchen able to meet your catering needs and helpful competent staff will ensure your evening runs smoothly.
MAIN BAR
Think big with your function, the Main Bar of The Establishment has hosted such diverse events as the ZM Single girls Scavenger Hunt, The World Push Up Championships, The Official Bar of The Hertz Sevens Courtenay Place, with a large outdoor area on Courtenay Place, any event or function will attract attention.
With all the resources we can provide, this is a great event space, with a fully functional kitchen, a 10 metre long bar and staff capable of working in the most hectic of environments. The Main Bar can go from casual socialising to Wellington’s most popular night club in minutes, with a diverse range of audio visual options including microphones, DJ’s and karaoke.
TOP FLOOR
The Top Floor of The Establishment, encompassing the restaurant, lounge and the largest balcony on Courtenay Place combine to provide one of the best function spaces in the city. Conveniently cut off from the bustle of downstairs with a soundproof glass wall, the top floor boasts a fully stocked bar, two televisions and a separate sound system, as well as a restaurant kitchen able to cater for your function. As a customer, you can take a space that becomes the busiest nightclub in the city every Saturday Night and we will help you create the function of your imagination, all literally a stairwell away from the heart of Courtenay Place nightlife.
